Description

Still hungry.

One of my first pictures from my new camera, which I got at Christmas. <3
I know, it's a little bit blurred, but I hope you like it too. :)

Heyo Akira

First off, great photo! Its always hard to capture good photos of animals, seeing as they never really pose perfectly for you . Let me point out the things I like about this. The bird is in the perfect spot in the frame, almost center. It puts the focus directly on the bird and really adds emphasis. It looks like he is about to take off, judging from the angle of the his head (which really makes this photo) and his left leg leaving the branch. Having him in focus and the trees in the background blurred is amazing. All in all, its a great picture.

Now for the stuff that could be done better. Now I know, you don't have much time or chances for set up when photographing wildlife. But, I did notice the the feeder ball and the branch top left could stand to be removed. They kinda throw off the main focus and impact of the picture, but they don't ruin it either. You are right, the photo could be a little sharper, but again, wildlife photos are difficult to get perfect. The actual bird himself is a little flushed out. His colors don't really show too well. You could edit this photo to bring out his colors with a little more saturation and contrast, while toning down the brightness.

In any case, I love this photo and it is now in my collections Have fun with your new camera! And keep taking these great photos!
